FAQ

What is the best way to contact you?

Fill out the contact form here and submit. I will get back to you quickly.

Are you available to arrange our marching band/drum corps/indoor show?

Possibly! I take on a few programs for every fall, winter and summer season. Due to the large amount of work involved, I only work for a few programs each season so I can devote my full effort into providing a complete quality product. Fill out the contact page and reach out!

What do you provide for marching arrangements?

You will receive all parts and scores that are needed (in any configuration requested). High quality .mp3 files of your show will be provided, so you will know exactly how the music should sound. Any configuration of ensemble elements can be provided in .mp3 format as well (full ensemble, percussion ensemble, front ensemble, battery, wind ensemble). All digital audio content will be provided without any work needed from you or your staff. All audio sample files will be provided, and groups that use Mainstage will receive pre-programmed Mainstage concerts from me. If vocals are required (singing or narrative), they will be recorded and provided for you. Simply download the files, open them up, and you are ready to perform!

What else do you write?

I enjoy putting unique projects together; particularly unusual ones that require a creative approach to make something new. If you peruse through the website, you’ll see the diverse musical projects that I’ve created. Songwriting, percussion, wind ensemble, orchestral, studio recording, social media marketing…I’m always eager to create something new and unique. I enjoy bringing together various talent on projects…let’s make something special.

Can I arrange one of your pieces for my group?

It is possible. The process of making this possible depends on the publishing status of the piece. Contact me and we can work it out.

Can I purchase one of your previous marching shows for my group?

Yes. If it’s a show with original music by me, you simply need to contact me. If it’s an arrangement of another piece, you will need to contact me and acquire the rights to the music. Please reach out and I will help you.

Can I commission you for a new work for my group?

Yes! I would love to create new music for something special. Please fill out the contact page and let’s talk

Do you do clinics?

Yes. The current clinics I offer are educational in nature.

I offer a clinic on developing a comprehensive percussion curriculum from the first day, and how to teach these skills. This clinic is hands on, meaning you will have sticks in your hand, and we will learn together by playing! This is designed for percussion teachers looking to improve their student’s skills, as well as non-percussionist music teachers who are looking to do a better job educating their percussion students. This clinic is applicable from the 4th grade band class, all the way to the high school program who is looking to accomplish things at a high level.

Another clinic focuses on running an efficient and effective elementary school instrumental music program. The elementary instrumental music program has unique challenges, and opportunities, that differ from the upper grade levels in middle and high school. Topics include: maximizing and re-thinking the pull out lesson group, how to approach ensemble skills, making your program a central part of the school’s culture, dealing with inter-personal issues among colleagues with a pull-out program, creative scheduling, instrument modeling, and all the tips and tricks possible when trying to get a 10 year old to make those first sounds.

Do you teach private lessons?

I teach a limited number of students in my local area, at my home studio. I also teach Skype/Facetime lessons.

Can you give me input on a score I am writing?

Sure, contact me and I’ll check out your stuff and share some thoughts.

Would you come in and work with my group?

It’s possible. My schedule is tight, but if there is available time and the conditions allow it, we can make it happen.
